Mammo Tech needed for Women's clinic in the greater Denver area! Full time contract available Required Qualifications
Mammography Technologist, Mammography Experience: 2 years
Certifications: BLS-AHA; M-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; CERT-Diploma/Degree-Associate
Float: yes nearby clinics in same area
References: 1 Reference in entire work history • Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Mammography certification required
• Must meet ARRT(R)(M) requirements for exam counts and CEUs.
• 2 - 3 years of mammography experience is preferred.
• Ability to accurately position the patient for imaging according to ACR standards.
• Utilize techniques to physically manipulate and apply accessories to produce desired images.
• Ability to select technical factors and operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images.
• Must have at least one year of experience with both screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Basic computer literacy and applications for data entry and records maintenance.
• Maintain BLS certification.
• Strong organizational skills; must be able to manage and prioritize multiple workstreams and patient interactions simultaneously.
• Exhibit behavior which emphasizes quality, conscientiousness, and professionalism.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift 20 lbs throughout the day.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patients and team members in a professional and caring manner.
