Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Valid RTRM (Registered Technologist in Radiography, Mammography) and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certifications
• Current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license
• Completion of all onboarding requirements (orientation, health screenings, background checks, and skills checklist)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography imaging procedures following established clinical protocols and safety standards
• Ensure accurate patient identification, preparation, and education prior to imaging procedures
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines
• Participate in department meetings, ongoing training, and quality improvement initiatives
