💼 Position Overview

 LPN will work directly with residents in a therapeutic, patient-centered environment, partnering with care teams to provide both direct and indirect nursing care across a variety of units.

🏢 Unit Descriptions

• 3 East (31 Beds)
  Specialized in Alzheimer's/Dementia care.
  Focus on verbal/non-verbal communication, behavior interpretation, and long-term home-like care.
• Transitional Rehabilitation Unit (42 Beds)
  Short-term rehab for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, strokes, and other acute conditions.
  Includes IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessments.
• 3 West (42 Beds)
  Long-term care unit offering home-like environment and full-time support.

📋 Job Requirements

Education:

• graduate of a Maine-approved LPN course.
• Active LPN license in Maine or compact state required.

Skills:

• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to float between units as needed.
• Flexible availability for 24/7 coverage (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
