Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) –

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hrs/week

Department: Adolescent Health Ambulatory Care
Experience: Minimum 2 years in ambulatory care

Job Summary:
Provide supportive and restorative nursing care under the direction of an RN or physician. Perform tasks including medication administration, IV therapy, patient prep for procedures, specimen collection, and assist with emergency procedures. Support patient/family teaching and contribute to care planning.

Qualifications:

NY State LPN license
BLS certification (AHA)
IV therapy/blood administration training

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver routine nursing care and assist with activities of daily living
Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products (with training)
Prepare patients for tests, treatments, and procedures
Document patient care and report observations to RN
Provide emotional support and assist in rehabilitation according to care plan
Participate in patient care conferences and emergency procedures
