Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position in Colorado, requiring a CO or compact RN license and specialized certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in Labor & Delivery with responsibilities in OR, PACU, and postpartum units
• Provide couplet care for mothers and babies, with a focus on deliveries from 32 weeks gestation and up
• Estimated 60–80+ deliveries per month
• 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends
• Call rotation typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, subject to change
• Perform L&D duties including OR and PACU responsibilities and postpartum couplet care
• Work as part of a supportive, evidence-based, and compassionate team
• No local candidates permitted; candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• Housing options may be available for travelers to rent directly from the facility
• Limited RTO (requested time off) considered
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
• Proof of flu vaccination or agreement to obtain by 10/31/25 (no exemptions)
