Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Texas requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent L&D experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Primary patient population consists of laboring mothers and newborns
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Perform comprehensive care for patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
• Work collaboratively with the L&D team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Documents must include a complete profile, skills checklist, references, state nursing license verification, and certification copies

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required, with expiration valid for at least 30 days from assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or longer in the past 12 months
• Submission requires US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
