Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position working night shifts and covering both circulating and recovering cesarean sections.

Responsibilities

• Work in an 8-bed Level 1 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit within a hospital setting
• Includes 4 observation/triage rooms for obstetric emergencies and assessments
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour or 4x12 hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Alternating weekends required, working every other weekend
• Float requirements within the hospital may apply
• Utilizes Meditech and Centricity Perinatal EMR systems
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Team works collaboratively to provide safe care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Meditech charting experience preferred, but not required

Requirements

• Active MS or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2-3 years recent Labor and Delivery experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Experience circulating and recovering cesarean sections is required
