Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a TX or compact license and strong clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• May be required to float to another campus or different floor as needed
• Altera EMR experience preferred, but not required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must be flexible to float to other units or campuses as needed
• Orientation includes completing required online modules, averaging 6-8 hours
• Clinicians must be available to complete laboratory screening within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
• 3 years of experience preferred
• Must reside at least 150 miles from the facility
• References from two supervisors within the last three years of employment required
• Return travelers who were previous permanent staff must have separated from the facility for at least one year
