Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with strong STEMI intervention experience, ARRT(R), ACLS, BLS, and at least 18 months of cath lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care cath lab setting
• Serves adult cardiac interventional patient population requiring STEMI procedures
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with weekend and on-call responsibility
• Approximately 10 on-call shifts per month, including weekend call
• Floating within the hospital or to affiliated hospitals is required
• Cerner is the EMR used and prior Cerner experience is required
• Must be able to work at least one winter holiday and two out of three major holidays
• Candidates must be able to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Returning employees must have a 12-month separation before applying as a traveler
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• Team structure includes floating support among allied professionals
• Free parking provided
• Must be able to provide two supervisor references for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months experience in cath lab interventions, including STEMI
• ARRT(R), ACLS, and BLS certifications are required
• AHA and RQI certifications must be current for consideration
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited university required
• IN or compact license must be in hand prior to start; pending state license acceptable if already applied
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers will be considered
