ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (New York or compact state eligibility)
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience with trauma, surgical, and neurological patients
Proficiency with Epic EMR system
Competency test required within 24 hours of submission (sent via email)
Ability to wear navy blue scrubs per facility policy
At least 1 year of overall nursing experience required
Travel nurses only; local candidates not eligible

ICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to ICU patients
Monitor, assess, and manage trauma, surgical, and neurological cases in the ICU
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Accurately document patient care and progress using Epic EMR
Float to other hospital units as needed to support patient care
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
