Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN with at least one year of recent home hospice experience and an active NC or compact RN license for a Monday through Friday day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Position based in home hospice care providing services to patients in their homes
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM
• Patients are seen in the community/home setting
• Provide direct nursing care and palliative support to patients and families in the home hospice setting
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to deliver patient-centered care
• Must maintain up-to-date certifications that do not expire within the first 30 days of assignment

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year recent experience in home hospice nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Submission requires verification of US Social Security Number and date of birth (no Canadian SSN accepted)
