Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

New York

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts. Flexibility is required, as weekend coverage may be necessary.

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team at a Level 1 Perinatal Center. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in maternal care and be able to provide high-quality support across all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

• Provide care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Support nursery and postpartum care as needed.
• Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care for gynecological non-obstetrical patients.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records management.

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• AHA BLS and NRP certifications are required; STABLE and AHA ACLS are preferred.
• New York RN license or proof of application with an applied date must be included in the application packet.
• Fetal Monitoring Certification and competencies appropriate for the nursing scope of practice are required.
• Experience in labor & delivery, nursery, and postpartum practices is essential.
