Title: Ultrasound Technologist 

Location: Laurinburg, NC

Duration: 10 weeks

Shift: Night, 3x12, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Perform a variety of general and obstetric ultrasound procedures, including abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, renal/bladder, and small parts imaging.
• Operate GE ultrasound equipment and utilize PACS for image management.
• Conduct exams in various clinical settings including ER, ICU, NICU, pediatrics, and portables.
• Perform ultrasound-guided procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and fine needle aspiration.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain high image quality standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
• Follow infection control and isolation precautions as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Registered with ARDMS in General Ultrasound.
• Proficiency with Epic charting system.
• Experience performing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester obstetric exams, abdominal and vascular studies, and general ultrasound exams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with OB/GYN fetal anatomical surveys and pediatric imaging.
• Additional ARDMS specialties such as AB, RVT, or RDCS.
• Familiarity with procedures involving Doppler, Duplex, and arterial/venous studies.
• Strong ability to work independently in a community hospital setting with varied patient populations.
