Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for night shifts, requiring dual state licensure in Kansas and Missouri or a compact license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a general ultrasound department
• Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00
• Floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities
• Drug screening required with strict compliance—diluted or positive results may lead to assignment cancellation and a 6-month waiting period before reapplying
• Completion of pre-start and orientation modules is required, totaling 10-15 hours including 3 hours of EMR modules
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off allowed
• Locals within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
• Travel partners are not accepted for this assignment
• Facility may offer employment without an interview, with accommodation for those wishing to interview
• Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent specialty experience as an ultrasound technologist
• Must have at least 1 year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months, with no employment gap greater than 90 days in the past year
• Kansas and Missouri state licenses or a compact license required if applicable
• Two professional references required, one from a supervisor level or above and the other can be from a charge RN, both from within the past year
