Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights / Varied

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN assumes leadership responsibilities, including the delegation of work to other levels of employees, while ensuring compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care according to established nursing practices and standards.
• Utilize the Nursing Process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Demonstrate leadership by delegating tasks to support staff and other healthcare team members.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications are required prior to contract start date.
• Must have relevant nursing experience in a similar healthcare environment.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift with varied hours.
