Job Description

Seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of experience working independently in a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to patients in the ER while managing a patient load of 1:5.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including blood product administration.
• Provide central line care and management.
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, with the ability to manage complex cases of organ dysfunction.
• Perform procedural sedation administration and monitoring, as well as emergency medication administration.
• Utilize the Epic charting system effectively.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and manage orthopedic cases as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year ER RN experience, working independently.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required.
• Experience with IV therapy, starting and maintaining IVs is preferred.
