Job Description

Join a major academic medical center specializing in Level-1 Adult Trauma and Level-2 Pediatric Trauma care. The Main OR features 15 operating rooms with a focus on a wide range of cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeries, including open and hybrid procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve replacements, and aneurysm repairs.
• Handle cases involving TAVRs, ECMO, Impella, Heartmate, lead extractions, and LVAD awareness.
• Scrub and circulate within the operating room environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 4 years of CVOR and open heart experience is preferred.
• Must have Scrub and Circulating experience.
• Active New York RN License.
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications required; other certifications are welcome.
• Previous travel experience is required.
