Travel Surgical Technician (CST) - Hendersonville, NC
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,310 (based on experience)

Position Details

Specialty: Surgical Technician (CST)
Location: Hendersonville, NC
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8-hour mids, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM
Floating: None required
On-Call: Call rotation required
Holiday Requirement: One 24-hour call shift per contract

Job Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments and supplies for various procedures
Assist surgeons and nurses during surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment at all times
Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment with precision and efficiency
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide appropriate tools during procedures
Monitor and maintain sterile technique throughout surgeries
Support a wide range of cases, ensuring patient safety and quality care

Required Experience (Hard Stops)

General Surgery
Robotics (Da Vinci)
Orthopedics (joint, sports, and spine)
Endoscopy
Urology
OB/GYN including C-Sections
Ophthalmology including Cataract/Retina cases
Must also have experience with vascular procedures (including thrombectomy)

Other Case Exposure Includes

Bariatrics
ENT
Additional vascular procedures

Education and Certification Requirements

Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - NBSTSA required
AHA BLS certification required
Recent operating room experience in the required case types listed above
