Travel Mammography Technician - Atlanta, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $2,730 per week (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Mammography Technician to join one of our trusted healthcare partners in Atlanta, Georgia . Position Overview:
The Travel Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accuracy in all exams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent technical skills, professionalism, and attention to detail while supporting the radiology department's mission of patient-centered care.
Schedule:
• Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform digital mammography exams in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Position patients accurately and comfortably to obtain optimal imaging results
• Ensure image quality and consistency while maintaining radiation safety standards
• Educate and guide patients through the mammography process with professionalism and compassion
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely reporting
• Perform quality control checks and maintain mammography equipment as needed
• Uphold HIPAA and patient confidentiality at all times
Education & Certification Requirements:
• ARRT (M) certification in Mammography required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography required
