Travel CT Technologist - Atlanta, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,850 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week contract with one of our trusted healthcare partners in Atlanta, Georgia . This is an excellent opportunity for an independent and skilled technologist to join a busy, fast-paced department and make an immediate impact.
Position Overview:
The CT Technologist will perform all computed tomography procedures in a high-volume environment, supporting both emergency and inpatient services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, patient care skills, and the ability to work independently in a collaborative clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Evaluate image quality and make necessary adjustments for optimal diagnostic results.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nurses to ensure accurate results and continuity of care.
• Assist with workflow management in a busy emergency department and inpatient setting.
• Maintain accurate patient and exam documentation within hospital systems.
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and handle high patient volumes with professionalism.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Required:
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent CT experience
  • Active ARRT (CT) certification
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Preferred:
  • Previous travel or high-volume hospital experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule & Work Environment:

• 4-day workweek (Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-6:30 PM)
• Fast-paced, busy CT department handling both ED and inpatient exams
