Travel CT Radiation Technologist - Wausau, WI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $3,600 per week (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel CT Radiation Technologist to join one of our trusted hospital partners in Wausau, Wisconsin . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technologist to provide high-quality imaging services while exploring one of Central Wisconsin's most scenic and vibrant communities.
Position Overview:
The Travel CT Technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, assist in patient care, and collaborate closely with physicians and medical staff to ensure accurate and efficient imaging services.
Shift Requirements:
• Varied shifts - 5x8s or 4x10s
• Start times vary between 6:15 AM and 11:00 AM
• Every 4th weekend, 12-hour shifts
• Holiday rotations required
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans and other radiologic imaging procedures according to physician orders
• Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with professionalism and compassion
• Verify patient identification, review history, and ensure proper documentation of all exams
• Collaborate with radiologists to evaluate image quality and support diagnostic accuracy
• Follow all radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
• Utilize Epic for charting, documentation, and communication (Epic experience preferred)
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies and federal regulations
Education & Certification Requirements:
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active Wisconsin Radiologic Technologist license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
