Position no longer requires a CNA License but must specifically have in-patient hospital psych experience - minimum 1 year. In-patient MHW experience should be working with forensic &/or adult persistently mentally ill patients. Strength is a significant factor with this position - must be physically fit, and able to quickly intervene and restrain patients (of a population that is big/young/strong) in the event of a psychiatric emergency. Insufficient experience includes work in: Nursing Homes, Rehab facilities, hospitals/facilities where the candidate has only "floated" in/out of a psych unit, or other typical medical (non-psych) facility experience.

RISPH suggests the following: MHW experience from Butler Hospital, any Psychiatric Unit at an acute care hospital (worked primarily on psychiatric unit – not just floating), such as ESH in Cranston, AM Building/Adult Psych services, Fuller Hospital, Worchester, Westborough, Bridgewater, etc... RISPH will also accept experience as a Security officer in any of these types of settings or other hospital settings.

Shift is 7:00am-7:30pm (Every Sat / Sun)
Offer is contingent upon a Physical Agility Test that must be passed within 2-3 business days of the offer. Shortening timeline because of immediate need. See attached description for specific information.

Interviews will likely take place between 10/27 - 10/29. 30-minute Interview, and availability will be sent as soon as possible.

Start Date: 11/17/2025 (if 11/3 is possible this would be wonderful for the client)
