Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with at least one year of recent travel experience and current BLS, ACLS, and RCIS or ARRT R certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care hospital within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Rotating call is required one weekday per week and every fifth weekend within a five-week block
• Two three-day weekends off are provided in each five-week period, one Saturday-Monday and one Friday-Sunday
• Patient population includes adults requiring cardiac catheterization procedures
• Epic charting system is used; experience is preferred but not required
• Role involves assisting with a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures
• Return staff must have a twelve-month break before returning as a traveler
• All modules must be completed as part of orientation
• Free parking is provided on site
• Latex allergies cannot be accommodated in this facility
• Team-oriented environment with support from experienced Cath Lab staff
• Locals are accepted at a lower bill rate with a 50-mile radius rule
• Travel pairs are accepted
• RTO requests must be submitted prior to contract

Requirements

• Minimum of one year Cath Lab Technologist experience and prior travel experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCI RCIS or ARRT R credential required
• Wisconsin or compact license required in hand before start date; license required if applicable
• Must be able to participate in rotating call schedule
• No first-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Pending license accepted if posted before start date
