Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days, 5x8hr shifts, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM; call required after hours and on weekends.

Job Description

The Travel Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The Technician is responsible for performing studies timely, under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.

Responsibilities

• Support diagnostic and therapeutic/interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Perform studies in a timely manner while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with the cardiovascular team and report findings appropriately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Cardiac Interventional Radiology Cath Lab.
• ARRT certification is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• RCIS certification preferred.
• Cerner experience is preferred.
