Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. The shift is from 8 AM to 8:30 PM, three days a week, Monday to Friday, with three weeknights of call per month (7:30 PM to 7 AM) and one weekend shift per month (24 hours from 7 AM to 7 PM).

Job Description

The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist is responsible for preparing and assisting in cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (STEMI), and various other interventional procedures. The role involves monitoring hemodynamic data, assessing patient access sites, and providing procedural assistance pre-, intra-, and post-operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCIs, peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data.
• Provide procedural assistance to the physician during procedures.
• Assess and manage access sites and promptly inform the physician of any issues.
• Adhere to on-call protocol for the Cath lab and prepare patients for procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
• RCIS certification preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and IABP experience required.
• Cardiac Cath lab experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
