Registered Nurse - Oncology (Night Shift)

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, as well as developing and coordinating individualized care plans.

• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage the care of patients.
• Document care based on standards of care and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
• Engage in ongoing assessments based on the patient’s needs and physician’s medical diagnosis.

This position requires a shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts with weekends required.

• Two (2) years of experience in acute adult oncology, specializing in leukemia & lymphoma, inpatient setting.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification from AHA is mandatory.
• Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license is required.
• Chemotherapy certification with ONS is preferred.
