Join a 13-week travel Physical Therapist (PT) assignment in Houston, TX, with 8-hour day shifts in a skilled nursing facility (SNF). The citys diverse neighborhoods and excellent travel conveniences make it an appealing destination for your next assignment.As a PT, you will consult with patients to assess their physical condition, review medical histories, and diagnose movement dysfunction. You will develop individualized treatment plans, coach patients through therapeutic exercises and stretches, and use hands-on therapy such as massage to ease pain and promote healing. You will also maintain patient records, adapt treatment plans as needed, and advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and recovery expectations.To qualify, you need a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and a state license to practice in Texas.
