Therapist - Part Time Treatment Foster Care

$33.50 per Hour

Do you have an interest in working with children/teens with mental health needs and experiences of trauma? Bring your skills to a team-based workplace that puts people first. As a therapist for treatment foster care youth, you will advance the company's mission of providing quality service by facilitating and providing counseling services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations.
• Provide therapy, family support, and crisis interventions to an individual, family and/or group using various treatment modalities.
• Provide mental health consultation to stakeholders and treatment team members.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with an interdisciplinary team
• Develop and coordinate discharge planning.
• Maintain timely and accurate health record documentation.
• Attend regular staff meetings, clinical meetings and one-on-one sessions with direct supervisor to process current status of cases.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree Required in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution
• Maryland issued LMSW Required
• Maryland issued LCSW-C or LCPC preferred
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly
• A good listener with an ability to empathize while still providing guidance
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
• A commitment to quality in everything you do
