Temp Logistics Analyst Renewable Energy Supply Chain

The temporary Logistics Analyst will support the renewable energy supply chain team in coordinating the movement of critical components such as solar panels, wind turbine parts, and EV battery systems. The analyst will focus on optimizing transportation, warehousing, and supplier networks to ensure timely delivery to project sites across the Midwest.
Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain and logistics data to identify cost reduction opportunities and efficiency gains in renewable energy distribution
  
• Coordinate shipments of large and sensitive components (e.g., turbines, panels, EV battery modules) across domestic and international supply chains
  
• Develop and maintain logistics dashboards (inventory flow, shipping performance, cost per unit delivered)
  
• Support contract management and performance tracking for third-party logistics providers (3PLs)
  
• Forecast demand and shipping volumes aligned with renewable project schedules
  
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and DOT regulations related to renewable energy equipment transportation
  
• Partner with procurement, operations, and project managers to align logistics timelines with project deadlines
  
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts (lean, Six Sigma, green logistics practices)
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  
• 3+ years of logistics or supply chain analyst experience, ideally in energy, heavy equipment, or manufacturing sectors
  
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP/WMS/TMS systems, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  
• Familiarity with freight forwarding, 3PL partnerships, and international shipping regulations a plus
  

Pay: $40 - $50 per hour depending on experience
