Telemetry Technician

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible rehires and external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Responsible for the observation of cardiac / hemodynamic monitors and patient activity on a video monitors if applicable. Reports any unusual activity to nurse or charge nurse. Documents according to unit policy. If applicable to unit, performs stat EKG's as needed.

Please note the following important details regarding this position:

• This is anonsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location.
• Candidates must reside within commutable distanceof the following office location:
• Texas: Lubbock
• Must beavailable to work weekends and holidaysas scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of cardiac dysrhythmia course or monitor technician course -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of acute care monitor technician experience
