Performs a variety of technical tasks and provides site support.

Modifies, moves, and installs a range of new equipment.

Troubleshoots a variety of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.

Performs a variety of integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems.

Prepares and presents a variety of incident/performance reports to the customer and to the service delivery manager.

Provides advice and a variety of onsite training for customer support personnel.

May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.

May serve as a team or task leader. (Not a people manager)

Analyzes, maintains, and modifies telecommunications systems to meet operational standards.

Monitors the operations of telecommunications systems and services of vendors.

Conducts studies regarding telecommunication systems usage and recommends changes as appropriate.

Plans and coordinates all moves and installation of telecommunications equipment.

Tests, adjusts, and troubleshoots complex hardware equipment as necessary.

Maintains records and prepares complex reports relevant to the operation of the telecommunications systems.

Technical training and 3+ years of related telecommunications/networking experience.

CompTIA Sec+ or DoD 8140 equivalent.

Previous experience with providing end-user training of telecommunications features and functionality.

The likely salary range for this position is $70,720 - $95,680. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
