Sr. Business Analyst

We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will have expertise in web analytics and regulatory business analysis. This role involves analyzing business requirements, providing insights, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Location: W Palm Beach, FL & Miami FL (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• JIRA Management & Sequencing
  • Create, manage, and prioritize JIRA tickets across multiple development streams.
  • Define and maintain ticket dependencies and sequencing to align with sprint goals and release timelines.
  • Monitor ticket progress and proactively resolve blockers.
• Project Dependency Tracking
  • Identify and document interdependence across front-end, back-end, mobile, and SAP Hybris systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure dependencies are addressed and timelines are met.
  • Maintain clear visibility into project status and communicate risks or delays.
• Requirements Gathering & Analysis
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and refine business and technical requirements.
  • Translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure requirements are feasible and aligned with technical capabilities.
• Technical Collaboration
  • Partner with engineering teams to understand architecture and integration points.
  • Facilitate discussions around GraphQL schemas, API contracts, and platform-specific constraints.
  • Support testing and validation efforts by ensuring traceability between requirements and test cases.
• Reporting & Communication
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track progress, velocity, and backlog health.
  • Communicate project updates to leadership and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and tools.

Required Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in software development environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and JIRA workflows.
• Experience with technologies including React, React Native, Android, iOS, SAP Hybris, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Hybris integration projects.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of GraphQL query optimization and schema design.
• Certification in Agile, Scrum, or Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until October 31, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
