Fulltime Veterinary Assistant Opportunity

Essential Functions:

• Venipuncture
• Catheter placement
• Radiology
• Physical examinations, patient assessment, and record keeping
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Dentistry (or willing to learn)
• Laboratory work
• Pharmacy
• Patient recovery
• Compassionate care for hospitalized patients
• Client Relations
• Housekeeping/Maintenance
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Must be friendly, outgoing, "People oriented"
• Working knowledge of computers
• Excellent communications skills
• Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments

Compensation:

$20 - $25/hr. Dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule, and additional responsibilities.
