Office locations: Orange, CA or Long Beach, CA Hybrid
Primary purpose of the role: Oversees staffing activities within a designated region and partners with operational management to implement timely, cost-effective initiatives aligned with regional and corporate objectives.
Essential responsibilities may include:
- Sources experienced and entry-level talent through networking, referrals, internet mining, competitor databases, pipeline strategies, and staffing technologies.
- Manages regional recruiting budget and preferred supplier list; collaborates with the National Director to negotiate vendor contracts.
- Screens, interviews, and tests applicants; maintains applicant data using electronic recruiting software.
- Tracks staffing metrics and colleague retention; consults with regional leadership on turnover trends.
- Trains and mentors hiring managers and Colleague Resource Generalists on recruiting software, system updates, and staffing techniques.
- Supports training on behavioral interviewing and candidate assessment tools.
Qualifications:
- Education & Licensing: 4 years of staffing experience required, including three as a direct recruiter in a high-volume, hard-to-source industry. Insurance recruiting and familiarity with recruiting software are preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $30.00-$40.00/hr.
