Surgical Technologist Travel Position

Description

Join our team as a Surgical Technologist Traveler and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment at UCHealth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, located in Aurora, CO. This position offers a full-time schedule with 72 hours per pay period, working primarily day shifts.

Compensation: $44.00 per hour, plus a competitive travel package/stipend. Local traveler contract options are available for those residing within 75 miles.

We offer 13-week assignments with options for extensions!

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Registration as a Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist in your state
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with a card in-hand before your start date.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the surgical operating suite with all necessary drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure all equipment and instruments are in good working order. Assist in preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
• Pass instruments to the physician during surgery and maintain an accurate count of all instruments and supplies throughout the procedure.
• Receive and process specimens for laboratory delivery.
