About the Role: As a Surgical Technologist in our Mohs Lab, you will play a vital role in preparing patient tissue samples and assisting in surgical procedures. Your expertise will help ensure high-quality tissue slides for precise diagnosis, ultimately benefiting our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing patient tissue samples, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to the Mohs Surgeon.
• Maintain sterile fields during procedures and assist with cosmetic and surgical functions.
• Manage pathology logs and oversee instrument sterilization while assisting in patient care.
• Potentially administer injectables and perform suture removals as required.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Surgical Technician program.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or Surgical Technician.
• Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a surgical or medical setting.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Mohs surgery.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records.
