Surgical Technologist - Competitive Hourly Rate

Join Optum as a Surgical Technologist and become part of a team that is transforming healthcare! This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $27 to $37 along with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

As a Surgical Technologist in our Multi-Specialty Surgery Center, you will enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule, working four 10-hour shifts per week. This position is an exciting opportunity for those who excel in patient care and surgical management.

In this role, you will be a crucial member of the surgical team, performing essential pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative functions, all while adhering to strict aseptic techniques. We seek individuals who value honesty, integrity, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room (OR) and ensure all necessary equipment is ready
• Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical process
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and anticipating needs
• Perform meticulous postoperative cleanup and prepare the OR for subsequent cases

Required Qualifications:

• Current WA State Surgical Technologist Registration (ST)
• Current AHA/BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Current ORT certification
• 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting or busy multi-specialty ASC
