Shift: Days

Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the surgical operating suite with all necessary drapes, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure all equipment and instruments are maintained in good working order. Assist with patient transportation, positioning, and draping.
• Pass instruments to the physician during procedures, maintaining a constant account of instruments and supplies.
• Receive and process specimens for laboratory delivery.
• Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to enhance surgical outcomes while working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED or Military trained.
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
• 6 months of Surgical Tech experience or graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech program.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with a valid card before the start date. BLS/CPR card must be current for sixty days post-hire.
