This facility is a well-established hospital providing comprehensive healthcare services to the Dothan community and surrounding areas. The facility features a 12-bed department with advanced cardiovascular surgical capabilities and a collaborative healthcare team environment.
Opportunity:
Eligible - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Job Details:
• Support an employed cardiovascular surgeon with daily rounding on post-operative inpatients (2-3 hours per day)
• Assist in regularly scheduled and emergency surgical procedures
• Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) is the primary surgical procedural skill needed (Terumo system used)
• Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage with minimum 30-minute response time
• No clinic/office hours required - call coverage only
• Handle approximately 3-5 patient encounters per shift
• Coverage needed for specific shifts: Sept 25-Oct 3, Nov 25-Dec 2, and Dec 23-Jan 3 (7a-7a)
• Surgical experience required, RNFA preferred
• Must maintain ACLS and BLS certifications
• Estimated credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
Estimated Hourly Rate: $ 90 - $ 130
