This medical center is a Level II Trauma Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center serving the Coachella Valley region. The facility features a 31-bed department and provides a wide range of advanced surgical and medical services to meet the diverse healthcare needs of the community.
Opportunity:
Board Certification Eligible - NP or PA
Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia services including general, spinal, epidural, and regional techniques • Experience with diverse patient populations including adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma cases • Perform anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical procedures including cardiac, complex orthopedic, complex vascular, head/spine, neurosurgical, OB, pediatric, regional, and thoracic cases • Manage obstetrical cases and neurosurgical procedures for both head and spine • Administer open heart anesthesia and manage thoracic cases • Apply pain management techniques including post-op epidural, post-op extremity blocks, and epidural steroid injections • Perform transforaminal procedures for both lumbar and cervical areas with x-ray guidance • Manage ventilation and evaluate/manage acute volume/BP issues • Place central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters as needed • CRNA supervision experience preferred • Must have a clean malpractice history for the past 10 years (no open or closed claims with payments) • BLS certification required • Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days
Compensation:
$ 110 -$ 120- Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
