This is a well-established regional medical center with a dedicated 15-bed department for cardiothoracic services. As a Level 2 trauma facility, it provides comprehensive surgical care and specialized services to patients throughout north central Wisconsin.

Opportunity:
Advanced Practice Provider PA/NP

Job Details:
• Daily coverage from 6am-6pm (end time varies) with weekend coverage on a 1:3 rotation
• Round with cardiothoracic surgeons and provide comprehensive patient care
• Assist with vein harvesting procedures when needed
• First assist in the operating room as required
• Perform various procedures based on skillset including A-line placement, central line insertion, thoracentesis, and chest tube placement
• Evaluate and manage new consults independently
• Complete patient rounds, orders, and notes on weekends with the ability to leave after completion • Respond to pages regarding patient care during day hours • Possibility of being called back for emergencies or additional patient assistance
• No in-house call required during nights/weekends (surgeon takes first call)
• Must be licensed in Wisconsin
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 90-day credentialing timeframe expected

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.

Estimated Hourly Rate: $ 90 - $ 130
