• Using a thorough knowledge of supply regulations and policies to perform a wide variety of complex assignments related to maintaining specialized property accounts and records.
• Completing individual transactions, providing customer assistance, screening reference files, conducting data searches, and distributing output files.
• Updating databases to reflect specialized or reconstructed information.
• Conducting extensive and exhaustive database searches to retrieve and use data in response to various questions or problems, and to resolve data discrepancies.
• Identifying reasons for transaction errors and failures.
• Resolving a wide variety of individual case problems.
• Inputting screening requests to obtain logistics data on existing national stock numbers.
• Preparing recurring and special reports and compiling statistics from data requiring substantial reformulation.
• Conducting extensive and exhaustive searches for information and extracting and assembling data from files and other records.
• Selecting best sources from which to obtain information.
• Compiling statistical, status and other supply information.
• Compiling special reports in response to customer requests.
• Reconstructing records in support of complex transactions.
• Verifying quantifiable information by resolving discrepancies or explaining departures from prior patterns.

Work is primarily sedentary. Employee may sit comfortably to do the work. There may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items such as paper books, or small parts. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. Employee typically works indoors in an environment involving everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices or meeting rooms. Observance of normal safety practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, and compliance with fire regulations are required. The area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
