    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. Current Nursing License for the state of NH

    
    
    
    
    • A minimum of three (2) years experience as a RN working in an emergency/urgent care/ ambulatory care setting strongly desired.
    • Previous Supervisor experience strongly desired.
    • Excellent communication skills desired with the ability to work collaboratively as member of multi-disciplinary team.
    • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
    • Current BCLS certification required upon hire.

    Position Objective

      Organizes and directs clinic services and operations in collaboration with Director and/or APP within the Express Care, a licensed Urgent Care.

    Performance Expectation

      • Directly supervises and manages all assigned clinical staff. Oversees timely and accurate completion of clinical staff work. Ensures adherence to clinic standards, procedures and protocols. Assists in the review, development and revisions of policies and procedures.
      • Oversees daily workflow of assigned clinical staff; assures adequate staffing by determining staff assignments to provide coverage. Assists in providing day-to-day clinical support and management for clinic needs.
      • In collaboration with the manager/Practice Director, coaches and counsels for performance problems. Completes annual staff performance reviews for assigned staff in a timely manner.
      • Interviews and provides feedback on hiring new clinical employees, organizes orientation to train new employees in operational procedures.
      • Participates in the Quality Assurance Program as needed. Functions as a resource to technology & operations in designing and implementing workflow changes that will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
      • Proficient and able to perform all aspects of the various clinical duties with a high level of competence. Provides daily direct clinical patient care.
      • Performs audits to review for appropriate documentation, workflow processes and patient flow, identifies key areas for improvement and staff training based on results.
      • Provides support to direct reports regarding complex clinical questions, works as a liaison between other departments to resolve questions and promote patient safety and satisfaction. Answers patients questions and concerns knowledgeably and refers patients to appropriate resources when necessary.
      • Understands scope of practice & skill set for all licensures under his/her direct supervision, manages workflows and staffing assignments appropriately.
      • Collaborates with the Clinical Educator to oversee training within his/her area of expertise, which includes: identifying needs, developing training, providing/facilitating training, tracking training, and validating effectiveness of training.
