Job Description Summary

Location: Auburn, Washington

Start Date: May 18 or 26, 2026

Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks

As an Operations Intern, you will assist the organization in various crucial areas, including:

• Partnering with site leaders to identify, analyze, and implement new or improved processes
• Documenting and presenting innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, consistency, and cost-effectiveness
• Developing, measuring, and maintaining performance and productivity metrics
• Collaborating with leaders in functional teams such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and delivery operations
• Supporting daily warehouse operations to optimize workflow and boost productivity
• Gaining exposure to order processing, quality control, freight sorting, and preparing shipments
• Engaging in cross-training across various warehouse areas
• Analyzing existing key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Designing workflows to ensure operational effectiveness
• Developing reporting capabilities and data visualization tools for performance analysis
• Participating in a Kaizen event

Accountabilities in this role include:

• Exhibiting strong analytical skills and paying attention to detail in all tasks
• Effectively communicating across all levels of the organization
• Maintaining a proactive, results-oriented approach to work
• Prioritizing tasks efficiently and consistently meeting deadlines
• Working independently with moderate guidance, showing initiative and ownership
• Adapting quickly to changing priorities and evolving business needs

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Management, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field
• Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, Lean Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Involvement in extracurricular activities, community organizations, and/or professional associations
• Unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Anticipated hourly rate: $22.00 per hour.

Bonus eligible: No.
