Sub Team Player

Sub Team Players are responsible for submitting a Sub Availability Form upon hire and completing a new form at least seven days in advance if their availability changes. They must maintain reasonable communication with club management and reply within 24 hours to accept or deny a work shift offered. They are expected to perform to their best abilities during their assigned work shift, monitor and maintain club cleanliness, stay proficient in the Planet Fitness mobile app, and ensure all proper training has been completed. They conduct regular audits to ensure the club is presentable, perform club walkarounds, audit and balance cash drawers daily, and properly input and update member information. They ensure members adhere to the company's policies, provide a safe and secure environment, communicate with members, and stock retail and janitorial items. They understand and adhere to company standards, stay up to date on certifications, participate in team meetings, and communicate with prospects and potential members. They assist the GM and AM with club membership promotions and ensure the club complies with all state and federal laws.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities and operates in a fitness club environment. The physical demands include talking or hearing, standing, walking, using hands and arms, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting, and specific vision abilities. This is a part-time, nonexempt position with no expected travel. Subs must work no less than 4 hours per month and no more than 20 hours per week. Employment may be terminated if the minimum schedule requirements are not met, if the individual has not actively worked within the last 60 calendar days, or if they decline three consecutive work shifts indicated on their Sub Availability Form.
