nWe are seeking a well-qualified individual for a Marine/Maritime Structural Engineer position.
nYou must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain Secret Clearance to qualify.
nPrimary Responsibilities:
nAs a member of an interdisciplinary team, solve structural engineering problems on complex ship design projects. Develop technical specifications, analysis reports, calculations, briefings, status reports and test procedures. Perform technical analyses using US Navy specifications, Design Data Sheets, Technical Manuals, and commercial rules. Interact with government and industry personnel. Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers. Technical Lead on small projects. Perform quality assurance reviews of products including calculations, models, drawings and reports.

U.S. Citizenship is Required

Must be able to quickly obtain a Security Clearance (Current Clearance preferred)

Requires BS degree and at least 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with more than 2 years of prior relevant experience.

Must have Structural Engineering experience on US Navy Ships and/or commercial maritime vessels.
n n - n
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinaryteam.
n n - n
Excellent MS Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Proficient with industry software including AutoCAD and Finite Element Software
n n - n
Strong analytical skills.

Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly, both verbally and in written format.

- Past submarine work experience is a bonus. n

nPay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
