Job Overview
Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Manager to lead our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. If you're eager to lead and grow within a dynamic retail environment, this opportunity is for you.
In this role, you'll oversee daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service and meeting sales and profit goals. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, with at least five years of retail management experience. A background in fashion apparel is advantageous. This position suits someone with a robust work ethic and a passion for retail leadership.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, hire, counsel, and manage termination processes, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to internal policies.
- Maintain financial controls, including managing shrinkage, payroll, and operating expenses.
- Oversee inventory management, conduct transactions, and ensure compliance with shrink control standards.
- Monitor sales activities to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Supervise staff involved in sales, inventory, cash reconciliation, and customer service.
- Ensure staff compliance with Citi Trends policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- 3-5 years of retail experience as a Store Manager.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations such as percentages, addition, and subtraction.
