As a full-time Sterile Processing Training Specialist, you will play a vital role in the education and development of our Sterile Processing Technicians.

Summary:

• Design and deliver comprehensive educational programs focused on the orientation and ongoing training of Sterile Processing Technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with department leaders and staff to identify and evaluate the educational needs and competencies of Sterile Processing personnel.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement training programs for new hires.
• Monitor and document the progress of new employees throughout their training period, providing remediation as necessary.
• Create ongoing competency assessments, educational resources, and continuing education opportunities for Sterile Processing staff.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment while working independently in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must obtain CRCST or CSPDT certification within one year of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sterile Processing or as a Surgical Technologist in an operating room.
