Schedule: Full Time (7a-3:30p m-f) rotating weekends on call. Shift: Day. Location: 100 Hospital Drive, Hendersonville, NC 28792. The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Hendersonville. The role you'll contribute: Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the sterile processing area. This position ensures the maintenance of accepted standards for instrument processing and collaborates closely with supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Assembles, cleans, sterilizes, and stores procedure trays, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Completes requests to dispense equipment and supplies, maintaining and processing patient charge records and department inventory.
• Sterilizes instruments, equipment, utensils, linen, and supplies using various types of autoclaves and aerators.
• Loads autoclaves in the prescribed manner and sets controls to specific times and temperatures.
• Completes appropriate documentation records prior to sterilization and verifies sterilization cycle.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent Required
