Description
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive health services to the Georgia Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team as Statewide Psychiatric Director. This position will be available as of July 1, 2025.
The Statewide Psychiatric Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet the behavioral health and psychiatric service delivery requirements of a specific contract in collaboration with the Program Manager/Vice President of Operations (VPO). The Statewide Psychiatric Director supervises psychiatric staff and collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams in providing services to patients with psychiatric disorders in a correctional setting.
Qualifications
•Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
•Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required
•Board certification in Psychiatry required
•Minimum 1-2 years of clinical leadership experience
•Correctional healthcare experience preferred
•Ability to pass credentialing and background check
